Full Job Description We are currently looking for a qualified Mechanic for our gas & diesel trucks and other heavy equipment. Responsibilities include but not limited to: (1) Preventative and routine maintenance repairs, completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, and cooling system maintenance. (2) Troubleshoots electrical components. (3) Maintains a clean work area, sweeps floors, removes oil and grease spills and performs other general custodial work, as required. (4) Maintains personal tools and company owned tools. (5) Accurately completes all associated forms such as inspection records and work orders. (6) Demonstrates team attitude and works to attain individual and company goals. Minimum Requirements: (1) Valid Driver’s License (2) Diesel Mechanic experience (3) Must be able to pass drug screening and background check (4) Proficiency in the safe operation of heavy equipment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8-hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Experience: • Diesel engine repair: 5 years (Preferred) • Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Preferred) • Small Engine and Excavation Equipment knowledge: 5 years (Preferred) • Proficient in Welding and Fabrication (Preferred) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Required) • ASE Certification (Preferred)
