A high growth automotive remarketing company is looking for a Porter for its Fort Worth recon center. The Porter will be responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles and the dealership property. In this role, you will move and park cars on the lot and warehouse and around the DFW metroplex. As a Porter, your duties include keeping track of parked vehicles and making sure that the property is neat and presentable. To ensure success as a dealership Porter, you should exhibit safe driving skills and have experience working in an outside, active environment. Ultimately, a top-notch Porter is someone who can be entrusted with valuable property and has some light mechanical skills. SHIFT: Mon-Fri, 10 AM - 4 PM with occasional Saturday duties. PAY: $15hr ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Keep vehicles neat and orderly - Move units in accordance with dealership needs - Transport vehicles around the DFW metroplex. - Inspect incoming and manage outgoing transport of vehicles - Keep property clean and presentable - Some light recon and mechanical (replace batteries, etc) of vehicles when needed. - Other functions and special projects may be assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Be at least 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the United States - Have your own reliable transportation - Pass a drug test & Have a clean criminal record - Have a valid driver's license kept in good standing for the duration of employment - Willing to work outside in all types of weather To Apply: A resume is not required, but please send us a short paragraph of your relevant past work experience and why you think you would be a good fit for this position. **Job will be on a 3 month contract basis with the potential to hire the contractor full time.
