Floral Designer - EXPERIENCED • Create visually appealing flower arrangements in accordance with OakLeaf Florist Style in a timely manner. Ex: A Dozen Roses, Everyday Vase, or Basket Arrangements should be completed in 15 Minutes. Sympathy work should be completed in 30-45 Minutes. If you are NOT available to meet these guidelines, please do not apply. • Responsible for working with clients, both in-person and over the phone, using a POS computer system to take orders and sell clients on the appropriate type of arrangement for the occasion. • Design arrangement according to client's requirements to value, utilizing knowledge of pricing guidelines and design materials, maintain cooler arrangements for walk-in customers. • Perform general cleaning duties to ensure a clean and organized environment. • Good listening and verbal communication skills in order to provide excellent customer service • Must be very detailed oriented, able to take initiative, and have the ability to solve problems • Takes direction, is well organized, and has excellent time management, self-motivated with common sense, ability and desire to learn quickly • Must know flowers, foliage, and potted plant names, seasonal availability If this sounds like you, we encourage you to come in and fill out an application in person.
