We ship our products nationwide and have recently expanded to Canada and will soon be shipping to Europe and beyond. Job Description: Complete Oversight of Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving Team, and Inventory. Completes various management, organization, and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse’s storage and shipment processes. Direct a team (up to 12+ staff members) including material handlers, order pickers & packers, and inventory put away, monitoring work, and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment (pallet jacks) and Forklifts (for Certified staff only). Audit and report inventory discrepancies to Management and make recommendations on which items may need to be reordered. Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse operation. Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee performance. Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels Suggest ways to improve Warehouse process flow when areas of improvement can be identified Demonstrated ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-volume work environment and to effectively manage quickly changing priorities. Receiving- Manage inbound Vendor container shipment scheduling, allocating staff resources and warehouse inventory locations to unload, check-in, and accurately do put aways of inventory. Oversees warehouse storage practices, cleanliness, safety, organization, and all movement/storage of inventory. Proactively plan ahead when possible for any delays and or shipping issues. Continually monitor the status of daily customer orders repurposing resources as needed to ensure all orders received by 2:00 pm ship the same day. Must have at least 2 years experience in Warehouse Operations including high volume B2C order fulfillment, receiving and inventory storage put-a ways, LTL truck shipments, and overall warehouse daily functions & requirements.
