Hello, My name is Matthew. I am a 27 year old Archer, with many years in coaching and teaching in sport and am currently accepting new students (young & old) who are interested in taking their first steps with Archery. My lessons revolve around teaching the absolute basics of archery. First lessons include: Safety training and responsible handling of a bow and arrow(s), correct form & and stance, undertsanding types of bows, arrows, associated equipment and their parts. You can expect to learn a well-rounded approach to the sport and be equipped with the skills and knowledge to begin practicing on your own or start pursuing further coaching. My goal from offering these lessons are to have you understand the concept at an affordable level, to see if the sport is a good fit for you - without having to spend a fortune on a equipment, a dedicated coach, or fulltime lessons. Think of this as an opportunity to dip your toes in the water and see if you or your family really want to pursue the sport. I am located in riverside and do provide a lesson/practice space on my property, suitible for shooting at range of about 45-70 feet. I'm also available to meet you at your practice space for lessons. Prices can vary on duration of lesson(s) (lesson duration is a minimum of 1 hour), number of students per lesson, and whether lessons are conducted at my practice space or yours. At base, 1 hour standard lessons are set at $50. If you're a seasnoned archer who just wants a place to practice, my property is available for shooting in hour increments at $25 an hour. Students and space use shooters will need to sign a liability waiver before entering my property or beginning lessons at theirs. If you are interested or have questions, please call, text, or email.
