So I’m currently looking for a new dog do to mine passing a few years back after 16 amazing years. I thought looking for a 1-2 year old with a bit of training (not professional) and interaction with a kid and pet friendly environment would help me out and also maybe find someone who is really in an emergency type situation and needs to find a new owner for the family dog. But I am amazed at how many people seem to just give up because they’re lazy or the dog isn’t the cute puppy anymore. I’ll never say I understand this way of thinking towards animals now obviously not talking about non companion animals but I think you know where I’m going. All I know is when shit ever hits the fan not many people I would’ve taken over my dog. Certainly not some sob that throws life away like I’m seeing in some post on here! So what I’m asking about is that rehoming fee I keep seeing?? Are they actually asking someone to pay them because they can’t handle their business (non emergency situations) and save the dogs lives? Seriously confused
