Description
General Function: Either directly, or through experienced employees, sanitize using the proper procedures for keeping a sanitary environment, maintaining of the records of their cleaning. Develop a basic knowledge HACCP & SQF. Be committed to company food safety and quality policies.
Reports to: Plant Manager
Positions Supervised/
Managed: Sanitation Technicians
Responsibilities:
• Assure that sanitation practices are timely and accurately follow SSOPs
• Clean Breakrooms, Bathrooms, office, and other areas of the facility
• Report Sanitation tasks are completed on time
• Refill and restock soaps, paper towel, and toilet paper
• Compliance with company Hazardous Communications Program
• Suggest operational improvements to management
Qualifications:
• Previous custodian experience preferred
• Follow Operating Procedures
• Enforce GMP's, company safety and quality policies.
• Accurately calculate and record numbers and other data as needed
• Communicate well with both employees and management in a professional manner
• Work in a standing position that will require bending and stretching of arms and legs
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Standards of
Performance: To assure that the Sanitation Technicians operate in a manner consistent with the sanitation, quality, SSOPs and efficiency standards set forth by the company.
Hours - 1st Shift
Authority: To implement and enforce all procedures and company policies related to the Sanitation. When sanitation and related activities delay or deviate from the routine operating parameters, immediate reporting of such to the President is required.
