SUMMARY: Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data, including Services Bulletins, Service Letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Job Description: Performing maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles to include the following: Commercial Pilot Seating and Configuration Equipment Engine Fire Extinguishing Restoration and Halon Equipment Aircraft Emergency Equipment Aircraft Refrigeration and HVAC Components Aircraft Convenience Components Battery Restoration Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record. Properly execute the duties assigned by the Supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Technicians will be trained to be thoroughly familiar with all tools and equipment used within their assigned area of responsibility. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull, stack, reach above shoulder level or carry light-weight materials.
