Mark Antony: Mark is 2-years-old and about 38 lbs. He is underweight and is extremely scared. He shakes in his kennel and has to be carried around everywhere. However, he is the sweetest thing. Mark Antony does well with other dogs of all sizes, can be cat-tested, and just really needs out of here ASAP! Who can take this scared boy on and help him to feel safe? This is the description posted when I picked Mark Antony up from the shelter. He had to be carried to my car since he was too scared to walk. Someone wasn’t nice to this young man throughout his life, but that has not effected his spirit or ability to love. A week later and Mark Antony is sweet, playful, loving, good with other dogs, wiggly and in high spirits. I have a resident dog who is an older grumpy and smaller man. Mark Antony adores him and takes his corrections like a champ! We are about 90% trained potty trained! Mark can hang out by himself but also gets along with any and every dog. If you let him, he will be your best friend. He just recently started giving kisses, was able to get out of the car on his own and it’s discovered that he loves hanging out on the deck - basking in the sun. Other cuteness: Mark will pick up his leash and trot around with it. Mark loves to find and chew on good sticks. Mark is very observant because he has had to be weary of people. I cannot stress how sweet this baby boy is. We were just neutered today so extra treats it is! I must get this young man adopted. I cannot bring him back to the shelter.
