Ardent Communities is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our fast-growing team. We have established properties all around the Columbus area, Marysville & Delaware! This position is specifically for our sites in the Delaware area. The Maintenance Technicians are responsible for facilities and maintenance of their assigned community or communities. They will achieve this through a focus on completing assigned work orders in a timely, effective, and efficient manner, with quality craftsmanship, while managing positive relationships with residential tenants. Job Responsibilities: - General daily maintenance tickets such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, etc. - Turning units in preparation of new residents (No painting, carpet, tile or cleaning!) - Diagnose problems, determine whether to replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments until the problem is resolved - Manage, enter and track maintenance requests within a work order system - Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with vendors and tenants Qualifications: - Availability for rotating on-call schedule - Providing your own tools and reliable transportation - HVAC certification (preferred, not required) Benefits: - Mileage reimbursement - Monthly bonus structure - Uniform provided - Cell phone provided - Medical, Dental and Vision insurance - 401k after a year - Paid holidays after 60 days
