Job Description: Assist a fire sprinkler company in maintaining the warehouse/shop by performing a variety of different tasks. These tasks may include keeping the work area clean and clear of all hazardous materials, delivering materials, fabrication and installation of tasks related to the fire sprinkler business.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain warehouse/shop area by keeping the work area clean and clear of hazardous materials.
· Organize and maintain inventory and dispense material for delivery.
· Receive material and distribute it to job sites or trucks.
· Select, repair, and organize tools as needed.
· Fabrication and assembly of fire sprinkler pipe and fittings.
· Collect materials from vendors and deliver to job sites.
Work Environment:
· Moderate standing, walking, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work inside and outside around moving objects with vehicles and machinery with moving parts.
Qualifications:
· Organization and communication skills
· Fabrication experience (Preferred)
· Mechanically inclined
· Must possess a valid driver’s license with a CLEAN record
· Willing to pass a background check and drug screen test
