Description

We are very busy and we are now hiring for Construction Labor and Machine Operators. The job duties of a General Laborer vary, sometimes even day-to-day at the same site. They may include cleaning and preparing a jobsite, loading and delivering materials; using different tools and machines, such as blowtorches; driving machinery; reading levels; operating lifts; and manning power drills grinders, saws, pressure washers, and other equipment. Requirements-• Must be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required• Able to lift up to 50 lbs• Have transportation & Tools (hammer, tape measure etc.) Willing to work independently as well as within team environment. • Previous commercial construction experience preferred • Steel-toed boots required • Discernment for safety and a positive attitude • Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Good judgment and attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Machine Operator Needed Requirements: - Dirt work/site development bulldozer/backhoe experience - Read grade stakes - Finish work - Take action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects. - Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate such stated machines. - Align machines with reference stakes and guidelines or ground or position equipment, following hand signals of other workers. - Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and materials, using trucks, crawler tractors, shovels, graders, or related equipment. - Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members. - Performs other duties as assigned.
