A solar Site Visit Technician is a person who displays utmost attention to details, is customer service oriented, and organized in all aspects. The Site Visit Technician travels to customer's home, goes over project details with the customer, takes a detailed measurements on the roof of the proposed installation area, uses Suneye (training available) to collect possible shading information, measures attic rafters, takes detail pictures of all install areas and the main electrical service panel. Upon completion, the solar site visit technician communicates the information collected and photos obtained back to the office for a seamless solar system design procedure. Opportunity for additional income by attending installations and/or city inspections upon system completion. Requirements: Full range of mobility in upper and lower body; No fear of heights and comfortable walking on roofs. Should have electrical and/or roofing experience but not a requirement; Feels comfortable on ladders. Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting; Be able to clearly read and interpret plans; Attentive to details; A good driving record; Documentation skills; Professional appearance Customer service skills a plus; Construction-related experience is a plus but not a requirement; Clean DMV and drug test necessary. no exceptions!
