POSITION SUMMARY: This position reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for cleaning, servicing and chemically treating the pools of customers. Daily route will consist of 10 - 15 pools to be serviced per day. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or general education degree (GED). Experience highly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. This job requires high standards relating to the work performed and the professional image represented. Job success is determined by customer satisfaction and good customer relations. Pool Service Technicians must be able to communicate politely and complete all work in a timely and accurate manner. The associate must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions, as long as it is safe. Must be a licensed driver in the State of Florida with a clean driving record. Must comply strictly to all road signs, driving rules and regulations and be noted for safe and courteous driving habits while operating company vehicles. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. This position requires the associate to be 18 years of age or older, have a high degree of stamina for physical labor, with the ability to work in high degrees of heat and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and often. The associate must be able to stand, bend, stoop, stretch and climb repetitively and often. The associate must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have the ability to work around chlorine without an allergic reaction.
