Job Description The Pine Ridge Dude Ranch, located in Kerhonkson, NY is offering an exciting opportunity for a MAINTENANCE TECH to be responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of the hotel. The qualified candidate will be responsible for handling all repairs and work orders on a daily basis. This includes troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems such as HVAC and plumbing and other equipment. Main purpose for the Position: To maintain the Hotel areas and all Hotel assets to an acceptable quality standard. Job Requirements: • Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred. • 3 years Maintenance experience. • Must have a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays. Responsibilities: • Provides professional and courteous service at all times. • Maintenance and preventative maintenance to include: refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, front and back of house spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting switch rooms, roof exhausts,, etc. • Perform all guestroom and public area maintenance services. • Responds to all emergency situations prepared to assist. • Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of all work space and storage areas. • Other Tasks include but not limited to: painting,compounding, sheetrocking, shoveling snow REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous hotel maintenance experience or equivalent required. • Mechanical, electrical, HVAC, painting and plumbing knowledge. • Practice safety standards at all times. Maintain a sense of organization and ability to prioritize in a busy environment. • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently to communicate with management, guests, and co-workers. • Flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business demands. • Must have your own basic tools and tool belt.
