ORDER SELECTOR/PACKER Established industrial manufacturing business in Jersey Village area is looking to hire an Order Selector/Packer immediately. This person will perform a combination of tasks including but not limited to: Shipping, Receiving, filling orders, inspecting orders, loading and unloading – in a safe and efficient manner. Position duties include but are not limited to: • Forklift experience is required • Receive, locate and transfer materials • Identify damaged materials and record material shortages • Load and unload materials onto and from a variety of containers; these containers can be racks, pallets, or trays • Utilize appropriate tools to complete tasks • Inspect any equipment used for deficiencies and report as needed. • Perform any other tasks, as assigned by management • Work safely and follow established safety protocols Physical demands: • Frequently required to stand and/or walk • Hand and finger dexterity • Ability to lift, push or carry items up to 50 pounds] • Occasionally required to balance, bend, stoop or kneel Work hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday; pay starts at $13.00/hr.
