INVENTORY CLERK Established industrial manufacturing business in the Jersey Village area is in need of an Inventory Clerk in the warehouse environment. The Inventory Clerk will be involved in all aspects of inventory and movements of product within the facility. Position Duties include but are not limited to: • Accurately control and track physical inventory • Issue purchase and work orders to generate product shipment • Maintain status of orders at all times • Participate in inventory process and daily audits • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies • Maintain and manage accurate records: quantity, type and value of material, equipment, merchandise and/or supplies stocked • Maintain all shipping and receiving schedules Qualifications: • Extremely detail-oriented • Strong interpersonal skills • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions • Manage priorities, multiple projects and workflow • Must have 2-3 years of experience in inventory cycle control Physical demands: • Frequent loud noise • Frequently required to stand • Continuous exposure to outside weather conditions • Occasionally require to lift, push or carry items up to 50 pounds • Specialized equipment, machines or vehicles used • Forklift experience required Work hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday; pay starts at $13.50 - $15.00/hr.
