EC Auto Service, one of New Jersey's premiere pre-owned luxury service centers, is actively seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join its team work in its 9500 square foot facility. We Offer: • Industry competitive compensation • Professional work environment • Top of the Line Repair Equipment and Resources • Advancement Opportunities for Career-Minded Professionals Job Description: The Technician is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below, as well as other duties as needed. • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical system, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. • Inspect, test drive and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made • Communicate with advisor to explain the diagnosis and subsequent repairs required • Complete repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Mopar standards, return all warranty parts to parts department and dispose of used parts as directed. • Ability to define technical automotive problems and draw valid conclusions • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Job Requirements • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an automotive technician • ASE certifications preferred • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, All Data, Mitchell, etc.
