Barn Hand needed in the East Palatka area. We are looking for a dependable, reliable, punctual, detail oriented, honest person with horse experience. Someone who can follow directions. Must have reliable transportation. No drugs and no smoking on the property. Must be local. We will not consider anyone in Jax (too far). Must be close to East palatka. we are looking for someone to help with the care of our animals and barn chores. Including but not limited to: cleaning of stalls and barn area, feeding animals and water. Grooming, bathing and administering medicines when needed. Fly masks on and off, picking hooves, etc... This is a part-time position with a mixture of morning and evening feedings. Weekends are a must but not every weekend. Morning feedings begin at 7:00 a.m. which means you would need to be on the property at 6:45 a.m. summer evening feedings begin between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. each feeding takes approximately 2 hours from beginning to end with added hours after feedings for other chores. We pay $15 an hour and we pay on Mondays through PayPal. if you feel you are a good fit for this position please message me and let me know what experience you have with horses.
