Install an 40 gal electric water heater, also need a gas boiler instal

2 jobs: I am switching out an electric water heater - 40 gallon - from gas to electric. Can you do this? Also I need to switch out my 35-year-old gas boiler for a new gas boiler - can you do this? I want to do a side vent. So, I have to move the unit over about three feet. Please don't tell me I need to do a combo tankless unit. No. I have decided against it. Two separate units.
