The Art Students League of New York has openings in its building maintenance department for Part-Time Maintenance Assistants. To be considered for this position you should have a willingness to learn and handle all levels of sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, collecting and taking out the garbage, cleaning sinks, general painting, cleaning surfaces as needed, and other tasks throughout the building as needed, You should be capable of lifting as much as 50 Pounds if required. The position also requires an availability to work flexible shifts and/or flexible hours to meet the needs of the job (e.g., daytime, evening, and/or weekend availability as needed).
