12 session workshop series focusing on strategic business development & growth for new and existing Kanawha Valley small businesses. Grow 2.0 is a business growth workshop series designed to give participants an overall framework for moving businesses forward from start-up through maturity. The series of 12 sessions will cover business growth topics including: product innovation, design thinking/ideation, business development, sales, marketing, financial projections, and legal concerns. You'll hear from guest presenters and business leaders around the Kanawha Valley on various topics related to business growth. The sessions are planned to be in-person at the Charleston Area Alliance. The weekly program begins on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 6:00pm. This is ideal for local small businesses. At the culmination, participants will have the opportunity to "pitch" their business or idea for funding during Thrive, the Charleston Area Alliance crowd funding event to be held in 2022. Seats are limited for this workshop series due to COVID and space requirements, so register early. This program is hosted by the Charleston Area Alliance and is grant funded by the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation and City National Bank. There is no charge to program participants. Upon completing registration, you will receive a confirmation email and the Charleston Area Alliance will be in-touch with additional information prior to the beginning of the program. About the program instructor: Justin Gaull is VP for Business Development at CBS ArcSafe and former economic development director for the Charleston Area Alliance. He holds a bachelors degree in Environmental Science from the University of Charleston and a Masters in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland's Clark School of Engineering. Justin joined Elkview-based Martek Ltd. before it was acquired by CBS ArcSafe in 2018. Today, he focuses on national account development, marketing, and launching new electrical safety technologies.
