Local high end tile and stone shop looking for someone to take over warehouse operations. The job would consist of: - Driving a forklift within the warehouse and loading and unloading trucks. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. - Preparing tile and stone orders, placing product on pallets for shipment. Boxes of tile can weigh as much as 50 LBS so lifting this much weight is required - Calculating square footage and basic math skills are required! For example, if we have an order of 240 square feet of 24x48" tile you will have to be able to determine that each piece of tile is 8 SF (24x48" = 1152 square inches / 144 square inches = 8 square feet). 240 SF / 8 SF = 30 pieces of tile. - Attention to detail will be crucial. Recognizing the different types of tile and stone will be pertinent to success. - Organizing the materials within the warehouse and notifying the showroom staff of product shortage - Cleaning the warehouse Hours would be 9-5 M-F and Saturday 10-2
