Established hardware and specialty business in New Orleans seeks energetic individual to perform various warehouse and store duties including: Unloading deliveries Pulling and loading orders Threading pipe Carrying boxes up and down stairs General cleaning Stocking inventory in warehouse Maintaining a neat and safe work area Qualifications include: Ability to lift up to 70lbs Ability to go up and down stairs multiple times per day Neat appearance Good attitude Punctual and dependable Must be able to read a tape measure Must be able to pass drug screen and background check Please note, we are a high volume store and get very busy at times. Must be able to work hard, work in a fast-paced setting, and work without looking at your cell phone every five minutes. This is a fun and enjoyable environment to work in with a variety of duties, products, and customers. Ideal applicant must be a good listener who is willing to take direction and follow instructions. Full time preferred but will consider part time. Full time consist of working 5 days per week, approx 45 hours, but may occasionally require more. Shifts are typically from 7am-5pm on weekdays, 7am-2pm on Saturday. Competitive pay, overtime, health insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays. No nights or Sundays.
