This September 25th, Hot97 is partnering with Summatime Presents for the cipher Brooklyn has been waiting for! Give us your best 16 bars! There are only 12 available slots. Deadline to enter is 9/20/2021 at 7:00 PM. For those who enter (either by winning a slot or purchasing a slot), you will be sent a track for which you must prepare a 16-bar cypher. Be sure to showcase your style of rap, give it your best effort, and try to not mess up -- EVERYTHING will be filmed and posted to WorldStar Hip Hop and other major outlets. Do not worry, there will be a soundcheck before the performance where you can rehearse before we film. Top 3 performances walk away with 3 awesome prizes geared towards your success in this music industry: a 2-hour private photoshoot, a 10-piece merchandise order featuring your brand*, and a 3-hour studio session for 1 entire week at a "Summatime Studios" location. Additionally, cipher members can enter a competition to win two sponsored slots, one at Hot 97's DJ Drewski's The New MVMT podcast (this is valued at $500-$700), the other a showcase slot of your choosing**. Slot Fee for Cipher: $75 (includes: 1 plate, 2 drinks, 1 Summatime Swag Bag + 1 Free Guest) Slot Fee for Cipher Competition: $150 (includes: 2 plates, 1 bottle, 1 Summatime Super Dope Swag Bag + 2 Free Guests) Each artist will have 1 minute to perform their best 16 bars. The entire cipher will last about 15 minutes, the remainder of showcase will be an opportunity to perform your own music and get some high definition footage! Each song is $25 to perform, $35 if you would like 4K/6K HD footage. You cannot perform more than 2 songs, unless you are a performing in a duo or group with someone else's 2 songs.
