The Fauxhawks - Jayhawks cover band

Guitar / vocals looking for musicians to form a Jayhawks cover band in the seacoast NH area. Would need a second guitar, bass, keyboards and drums, and at least one of those need to be able to sing. Obviously you need to share a love of the band's music, and be good at your instrument. I'm into recreating the music, not "just like the record" necessarily but to capture the feel of the original and do the songs justice. I am not into trying to dress like or play band member roles. I wouldn't care, for instance that the keyboard player isn't female or that the bass player might sing the lead vocal on some songs. I just want to make the songs sound good. I'd hope to play a couple of shows from this, and then probably wrap it up, but who knows, maybe it will turn into something more permanent. I'm ever the optimist.
