October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and YOU will able to support this cause in downtown Salem with the Good Witch of Salem! Breast Cancer Fundraiser Join the Good Witch of Salem this October 9th at the Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites to raise funds to help women in need today who are fighting Breast Cancer. While this is an event to gain essential resources in need, it is also a time to honor those who have moved on, celebrate those who have overcome Breast Cancer, and support individuals and their loved ones in the fight. We are not in this alone. Together, our support and positive energy can overcome any challenge Breast Cancer presents. Date: Saturday, October 9, 2021 Time: 7:00PM-11:00PM Location: Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites Dress Code: Cocktail Attire – Wear something PINK! Dress, shoes, accessories! You name it! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and YOU will able to support this cause in downtown Salem with the Good Witch of Salem! As you enter the ballroom of the Salem Waterfront Hotel, the presence of all the PINK love will surround you. Enjoy an assortment of stationed and passed appetizers while you decorate your own PINK witch hat. Shades of pink craft materials including tulle, lace, ribbons, gems, flowers and more will be adorned on tables for you and your group to create, beautiful hats representing the fight against Breast Cancer. Model your creation on our pink carpet for a chance to win prizes! Take a photo, or two in the Good Witch Pix Photo Booth. Take a break with an assortment of PINK treats and desserts. Honor your loved one with a photo for our event slideshow. There will be a number of gift baskets and local prizes to raffle off the night of the event! Enjoy guest speakers and dance the night away under the pink lights on the dance floor! Event Highlights Pink Seasonal Setting Decorate a Pink Witch Hat Photo Booth Pink Carpet DJ, Dancing & Entertainment Raffles and Door Prizes Guest Speaker Appetizers Coffee and Tea Seasonal Desserts Cash Bar Pink hair extensions for purchase Slideshow All profits go to North Shore Medical Center, Salem MA Parking Parking at the Salem Waterfront Hotel is available based on a first come, first serve basis. Additional parking is limited in downtown Salem during the month of October. It is best to arrive prior to 9:30 AM to ensure a parking space is available. Parking is free around the perimeter of the Salem Common, a five minute walk to the venue. Metered parking spots are available around the hotel. The Museum Place parking garage is located at 1 Church Street, about a 5-10 minute walk to the event venue. Located at 1 New Liberty Street is the Bridge Street Lot, also a 5-10 minute walk to the event venue. In addition to parking, there is the MBTA Commuter Rail Station located at 252 Bridge Street and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the event venue. Read more about parking in Salem, MA here. Ticketing Information Each attendee will require a ticket. This event is for those 21 and older. Tickets will be only refunded in the event that the Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites cancel the Pink Pretties Breast Cancer Fundraiser due to COVID-19 restrcitions and limitations. Salem’s Mask Mandate Starting August 23rd through Saturday, November 13th masks will be required in indoor public spaces.
