**PLEASE RESPOND WITH YOUR RESUME AND CONTACT INFORMATION** JOB OVERVIEW Qualifications: * Prior experience as a maintenance technician (hotel environment preferred) * Ability to utilize basic technology including a smartphone and a computer * Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, dry walling, carpeting repair, safety operating systems, etc. * Superb attention to detail * Clean and professional appearance * Ability to work well in a team environment * Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills * Positive and outgoing * Reliable Responsibilities: * Work closely with management and housekeeping to inspect property daily identifying current and potential safety and/or maintenance needs * Ability to prioritize maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders * Change or repair locks as needed * Troubleshoot and perform maintenance operations for the property including but not limited to refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, fire and life safety systems, and other systems and equipment owned, leased or managed by the hotel * Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all work space and storage areas * Change air-conditioning filters per the maintenance program * Greet each guest that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile * Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional * Follow hotel procedures for reporting and turning in lost and found articles * Coordinate with other departments as necessary to resolve service requests or problems * Ensure guest and associate safety by following established security procedures including emergency procedures, key security and protecting guest and company confidential information * Follow all company and safety procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager * Perform any other job-related duties as assigned Pay: $12.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Holidays Night shift Weekend availability
