Gong Journeys is a form of sound therapy that encourages meditation, self-healing, deep rest, relaxation, prayer and spirituality. Come and join us at Dallas Meditation Center to relax, release stress, rid yourself of whatever does not serve you, rejuvenate and re-energize your body, mind and spirit with gentle movement and a sound immersion gong bath. Suggested Donation/Dāna $10-$20 Gong Journeyman Osten Aune begins each session by guiding you through movement to calm the body and through hand mudras, or hand gestures, to calm the mind and guide the meditation.  Then participants are immersed in soothing sounds of a gong bath featuring a 40" Sun King Gong from Italy, 30” Paiste Symphonic Gong from Germany, 26" Chinese Chau Gong and 21"Wind Gong, small Conch Shell gong from Iceland, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Koshi Bells, chimes, shakers and drums. This encourages meditation, self-healing, relaxation, prayer and spirituality. I spend about ¼ of the time on the Intention with gentle movement, mantras and mudras to guide and direct the meditation. Most of the time is the Sound Immersion Gong Bath with gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, bells, FreeNotes, bringing participants into a quiet (theta brainwaves) safe place that is optimal for reducing stress, bringing deep-rest, clarity, inspiration and emotional, spiritual, physical self-healing. The remaining time is spent on grounding participants; bringing people back into consciousness, awareness and clarity with everything from earthly frogs & cricket sounds to shakers, rattles and drums.
