Description
Experience first hand how the Wim Hof Method can boost your immune system, better manage stress, and access deep states of meditation. INFORMATION Put yourself in the expert hands of a Certified WHM Instructor and Optimal Health Coach Greg Spivak C.S.C.S. to learn the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method: Breathing Technique, Cold Exposure & Commitment. Find out how you can utilize oxygen and cold exposure to optimize body & mind, and learn about the underlying physiology. These workshops sizes are limited to keep things smaller and more personal. The intimate quality allows for ample personal attention, and feedback tailored to your specific situation. Whether you are looking to improve mental or physical performance, relieve symptoms related to an illness, or are just curious to find out what the Wim Hof Method is all about— a WHM workshop offers something for everyone. Learn how you can first hand boost your immune system and reduce stress levels to make yourself more resilient to the COVID-19 virus. The program generally kicks off with an introduction to the Wim Hof Method, and always includes a breathing session and an (optional) ice bath. At the end there is ample room for reflection, and the Instructor is there to answer questions throughout the workshop. Instructors have their own specializations, and there is some variation across the individual workshops. A detailed overview of the day is sent out upon registration. If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, I recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled, steady rhythm. Who is this workshop for? This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, I advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method. As an optimal health & fitness coach, I help my clients on their journey to optimal health through careful attention to detail, the utilization of my vast training and expertise, and by a constant desire to learn more about our human potentials. I am a Certified Wim Hof Method Instructor, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.), and Nutritionist. I am also a lifelong athlete, a former Division 1 collegiate football player, and a martial artist. I have spent a lifetime studying the art and science of the what it means to live an optimal life through physical, mental, and spiritual means. My extensive study and practice of the Wim Hof Method over the past number of years has taught me many new capabilities of our human potential and it is an honor to share them with each and every one of you. My Mission: To help you to achieve your untapped health and fitness potentials by coaching you on the Wim Hof Method fundamentals. By learning and practicing the 3 pillars of the WHM (Breathe, Cold exposure, & Mindset/Focus), you can take an active role in gaining more control of your bodies inflammation levels, mental clarity, focus, mindfulness, and performance. Throughout my time as a coach, athlete, and through my time rehabilitating myself from 6 major surgeries, I realized the huge importance of what these 3 pillars can do for us human beings. We have the capability to take control of our physiology at a cellular level and alter it at will, simply by breathing. As Wim says, “feeling is believing”, and you will feel your bodies capabilities as I coach you through the breathing and ice.
