Premiere performance of downtown parks Artist in Residence, Alexandra Joye Warren and JOYEMOVEMENT dance company.
Greensboro Downtown Parks Artist in Residence, Alexandra Joye Warren, will present A Wicked Silence as a kick off to National Dance Day GSO.
Created in collaboration with JOYEMOVEMENT dance company, the performance will be presented as a 'choreoplay', exploring the history and consequences of the Eugenics program in North Carolina.
Seating will begin at 6:30pm in Carolyn's Garden at LeBauer Park, with the performance to begin at 7:00pm. Audiences should come prepared to move throughout various locations in Center City and LeBauer Parks during the performance. The performance is FREE to attend.
