Teen Experience: Alcohol Ink Glass Jars & Zendoodles
Using alcohol ink, teens are invited to create a painted jar that resembles stained glass or watercolor glass. Teens will also have a chance to practice the art of zendoodling! When you draw a Zendoodle, you’re creating a work of art, but you’re also deliberately creating a mood, focus, and state of mind. Concentrate on drawing small blocks of patterns at a time; going with the flow lets your mind get into a calming zen state. This allows you to follow through on impulsive thoughts, so your doodle won’t be restricted by expectations, giving you an unexpected final design and a glimpse into your subconscious!
Teens in grades 6th-10th are invited to hang out and have fun during this interactive program. Registration Requested. Space Very Limited.
Effective Monday, August 2, 2021, all Wake County Facilities including Public Libraries, will require visitors and staff ages 5 and up to wear a mask and complete a brief health screening questionnaire upon entering buildings.
