JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for assisting the Sakurai Operator in the operation, cleaning and maintenance of the Sakurai Press ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Upon start of shift inspect Press and Press area for cleanliness. Clean as necessary. • Maintain necessary supplies and materials to perform job functions • Assist Sakurai Operator in the setup of Machine - Load Screens - Load Adhesive - Verify Tack and Drying of Adhesive - Run Job - Fill out log book with pertinent details • Ensure laminator is working properly a. No overlap on Guide or Gripper b. All adhesive is covered. c. Any quality issues identified and brought to Supervisor’s attention • Items as assign by Supervisor • MES • Repair and Maintenance as needed SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: • Apprenticeship of minimum of 2 year in Sakurai Operations • Strong Mechanical aptitude • Ability to read/write in English • Knowledge/ application of good safety, process, maintenance and cleaning practices • No physical limitations (i.e. eyes for color) • Standing/walking/bending during an eight (8) hour shift • Annual Product Safety Training • Basic Computer skills EDUCATION: • High School or equivalent EXPERIENCE: • No previous experience necessary
