He is my foster dog Finnley is about a one year old (1yr & 3 Months) super affectionate dog who is looking for a home. I am not sure exactly what kind of dog he is. The County Shelter has him down as a Lab mix. He definitely has some lab in him and I guess some Whippet too. Possibly some sharpei or the "Spuds McKenzie" kinda dog based on his face. I don't really know. I do know Finnley would make a great friend. He LOVES to meet new dogs, so he would PROBABLY do well at a dog park. He follows me around and wants to hang out with me. He is a little wary of people when he first meets them, but after a couple of weeks he will be your best friend forever. (a common trait for a whippet) He does appear to be house trained, but I have a dog door so I don’t know for sure. The funniest thing you can ever see is when Finnley is playing. He runs around so boisterously; full of happiness and joy. He throws his toys in the air and catches them himself. Finnley is pretty smart. He has learned sit, down, and roll over. He could benefit from continued training. He would be best for someone who has a dog. Also he can’t go to a home with kids under age 12. Overall he is good natured and wants to do the right thing. The organization I work with has already neutered, microchipped, and gave him his shots. He has a very low rehoming fee. I am just a volunteer at the shelter, so anything they say takes precedence over anything I may have told you. If this ad is up, Finnley is still available for adoption
