FACILITY MAINTENANCE LEAD - JOB DESCRIPTION Benchmark Climbing is hiring for our SF location! If you’re an energetic, friendly and reliable individual, then we want to hear from you! Reporting: The Facility Maintenance Lead reports directly to the General Manager. Location: 1414 Van Ness, San Francisco, CA 94109 Position Description: The Facility Maintenance Lead is responsible for keeping our gym organized and clean for our community members. We're looking for someone with prior professional cleaning experience, ideally in the fitness or hospitality industry. Candidates must take direction well and be able to adhere to a strict shift schedule and checklist. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in seeing a job well-done, isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and is enthusiastic about providing the best user experience for our members and guests. This is a part-time position with opportunities of up to 30 hours per week. Job duties include but are not limited to: Basic cleaning of the entire facility, including climbing/workout areas, coworking spaces, entrances, walkways, windows and other assigned areas Cleaning includes: dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, stain removal, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor and spot cleaning glass Daily deep cleanings of the restrooms, showers, locker rooms and communal wash areas Fully stocking locker rooms with towels, toilet tissue and other amenities as-needed Emptying all trash receptacles Wiping down and sanitizing all fitness and training equipment Deep cleaning all co-working spaces and staff areas Vacuuming bouldering mats with a focus on dust and chalk control Periodic vacuuming behind the bouldering walls Assisting with laundry and folding towels Maintaining cleaning supplies and inventory for restocking Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns Requirements: Be yourself!
