PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents will have an opportunity to get a free coronavirus test ahead of the start of school next week at the city's Higgins Middle School Clinic Wednesday afternoon.
The clinic is open to those who live in the city with pre-registration available here. The clinic will run from 4 to 8 p.m.
The testing does not require insurance and will be available through the city and Cataldo Ambulance.
Daily free testing continues to take place at the "Stop the Spread" locations in Salem and Lynn.

Peabody was also to host a Community Health Expo at the Peabody Memorial Fieldhouse from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday.
Students and families could get information on mental health services and the coronavirus vaccine for those eligible. Music and ice cream were also planned for Monday.
The coronavirus vaccine will be available during Monday night's expo.
