Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service. Use hand and power tools to perform basic fabrication and carpentry, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, air conditioning, and plumbing repairs. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Provide quality customer service to all internal customers. Work collaboratively with Machine Operators to diagnose machine maintenance and repairs. Perform and record scheduled tasks within designated timeline. Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Team with special projects as necessary. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Education/Experience/Skills: · High school diploma · 1-2 years of related experience required · Regularly and repetitively lift 50 pounds and frequently lift 75 pounds, using proper lifting techniques · Able to move freely about the facility, climb stairs, stoop, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods of time up to and over 8 hours a day · Able to work at heights up to 30’ · Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical systems · Possess excellent attention to detail · Able to handle multiple activities · Able to work alone and in teams · Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately · Willing to “think outside of the box” and identify process improvement opportunities For consideration, please apply online at Gensco is a drug free company and EOE.
