4 Teenage Burglars Arrested: Suffolk Police

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Four teenagers were arrested on Saturday in connection with a string of burglaries that happened across western Suffolk County during the past week, police said. Police received a 911 call at 4:40 a.m. Saturday reporting a group of teens trying to break into Cell Phone Resurrection, at 239 Deer Park Ave., Babylon, police said. Officers found a 2011 Hyundai Tucson, occupied by four teens, entering the parking lot of 1906 Deer Park Ave., Deer Park, police said. There was a brick, multiple cell phones and boxes in the car, police said. Te'sean Henry, 18, of Wyandanch, two 16-year-old boys from Wyandanch and a 15-year-old boy from Liberty were taken into custody, police said. The three boys were not named by police due to their status as minors. Henry was charged with four counts of third-degree burglary, one count of third-degree attempted burglary, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. The 16-year-olds and 15-year-old were charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, one count of third-degree attempted burglary and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Police said the burglaries happened at: Wireless Shack, at 1167 Deer Park Ave., North Babylon, at 4:50 a.m. Aug. 18.iSpeak Phone Repairs, at 287 Portion Road, Lake Ronkonkoma, at 3:25 a.m. Aug. 18.We Fix Phones, at 213 Walt Whitman Road, Huntington Station, at 4 a.m. Aug. 21.One Stop Call, at 370 Oak Street, Copiague, at 4:30 a.m. Aug. 21.Cell Phone Resurrection, at 239 Deer Park Ave., Babylon, at 4:40 a.m. Aug. 21.Henry and the two 16-year-olds were arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip, while the 15-year-old was released to a family member and will appear in court at a later date, police said.
