As the storm moves closer to the area, Dedham residents are encouraged to review the following resources:
Emergencies: Call 9-1-1 for all emergencies How to Report a Power Outage: Contact Eversource Residential Hotline at 800-592-2000. You can also sign up for Text Alerts from Eversource by visiting their website, linked here: Eversource Power Outage Alerts Build an Emergency Kit: An emergency kit should include a variety of emergency supplies to help sustain you and your family for up to 3 days (Mass.gov) Batteries Charged phones and devices Water Food Pet food Tools/Supplies Money Documents Clock/watch Blankets Visit the Mass.gov website for more items and tips to help you and your family prepare for an emergency and download the MEMA Emergency Kit Checklist Track the Storm: The Dedham GIS Department has included the following maps to help track Hurricane Henri and stay informed with updated advisories, state & local resources, and weather forecasts: Hurricane and Cyclone Map: Enter your address to track weather in your area, and zoom out to view radar images of the Hurricane FEMA Geospatial Resource Center Hub Site: Track the storm's path, identify nearby shelters, review local advisories, estimated rainfall totals and predictions, and review emergency resource efforts before, during and after the storm has passed.
