TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Township Council is set to take up discussion of the proposed downtown redevelopment plan on Tuesday at the council meeting. The redevelopment plan is just one piece of a packed agenda for Tuesday's meeting, set for 6 p.m. at town hall. The agenda also includes the redevelopment agreement for the Hooper-Caudina parcel that is set to be home to the new Veterans Administration community-based clinic. The council also is set to introduce an ordinance setting a local tax for hotels and motels, and rules for the new skatepark that had its grand opening on Saturday.
