SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests in town: At 2:05 a.m. on Aug. 17, officers from the North Bergen Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of David Moreira, 24, of North Bergen, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200. Moreira was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. At 9:42 p.m. on Aug. 17, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested Jeinson Bedoyalopez, 36, of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS. Bedoyalopez was issued his complaint summons along with one motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody. At 11:13 a.m. on Aug. 18, Secaucus Police arrested Karina Espinal, 34, of Dorchester, MA after Espinal entered Secaucus Police Headquarters for the purpose of satisfying 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ for the charge of Theft of Services [2C:20-8A] with no bail and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Espinal was able to post the $500.00 bail for the 1 involved warrant. The Secaucus Municipal Court did release Ms. Espinal on her own recognizance on the other outstanding warrant and Ms. Espinal was released from police custody. At 11:43 p.m. on Aug. 18 during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested Ashshakir Muhammad, 31, of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option. Muhammad was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. At 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 19, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested Jiale Hicks, 26, of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option along with 3 additional outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $300. Hicks was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued four motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. At 3:41 p.m. on Aug. 20 Secaucus Police responded to the La Quinta Inn located at 350 Lighting Way on a report of an individual who appeared to be intoxicated who was refusing to leave a private event at the hotel. During the investigation, the police arrested a 44-year- old male, Timothy Schott of Easton, PA for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Schott was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional three motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. At 2 a.m. on Aug. 22, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested Sharon Carrasas-Huayllas, 26, of Elizabeth, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Carrasa-Huayllas was served her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional six motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
