Here are the top stories today in Sacramento: Eric Leyva, a man who went on a terrifying three-day crime spree in 2019, has been sentenced to 14 years, 8 months to life in prison. Leyva kidnapped his then-girlfriend's younger sister under threat of violence according to Sacramento Deputy District Attorney Monica Robinson. He then forced the victim at knifepoint to enter a home where a family of eight was living, including three children, Robinson says. Leyva held the victim and family hostage overnight before releasing them. After police used a chemical agent in the home, Leyva surrendered. (Good Day Sacramento) Here's your chance to own a piece of Americana! Apparently, Al Capone's only child, Sonny, lived in Auburn at the end of his life. His children (Al Capone's grandchildren) are auctioning Sonny Capone's estate later this year. You'll have a chance to own Al Capone's Colt pistol that he dubbed "sweetheart," his diamond-monogrammed watch, family photos and more. The auction will take place on October 8 at 6 p.m. at Sutter Club in downtown Sacramento. (CBS Sacramento) A 69-year-old man is dead after his motorcycle slammed into the back of a 2014 Chevrolet that was stopped in traffic in South Sacramento on Sunday. The CHP said the crash happened at around 11:40 at Dillard and Riley Roads. The names of those involved in the crash were not released by the CHP. Law enforcement doesn't know if alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash. (ABC10)A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Sacramento senior. Troy Isaac Young, 72, was last seen on Sunday around 11 p.m. in Sacramento. He is believed to be driving a blue 2014 Chevy Captiva with California license plate 7DHV040.
