Brandon Road Bridge Breaks Again: It's Closed

ROCKDALE, IL — On April 5, Joliet Patch reported that the Brandon Road Bridge was finally reopened after a 15-month-long closure to fix it. On Sunday, it broke again. "IDOT has informed us the Brandon Road bridge had a mechanical issue earlier today and Brandon Road is currently closed," Rockdale's Police Department announced on its Facebook page. "We did not receive any information about what type of mechanical issue it is or when it will be repaired. We will update once we receive more information."
