ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police responded to two domestic disturbances in the last few days. Here is information from the police reports: Megan Palinkas, 20, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Grand Avenue on a charge of domestic battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Palinkas pushed a woman, who lost her footing and fell into a door frame, causing a cut to her head.A domestic disturbance happened about 8 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of West Armitage Avenue. Police were called about a man with a knife. Officers saw a cut on a man's arm. He said he received the cut when the suspect tried to lock him out of the house. A woman said that as she drove the suspect home, he punched her in the face and spat on her. Charges are pending.
