Man Robbed On Upper West Side With Screwdriver, Knives: Police

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A 32-year-old man was walking on the Upper West Side earlier in August when he was approached by three individuals who displayed weapons and took his e-bike and money, the New York Police Department said. The man was in front of 300 West 109th Street (near Riverside) on Aug. 9 at 5 a.m. when three people confronted the man, took out knives and a screwdriver, and demanded his bike and cash, police said. The suspects ran away with the bike and $300 in bills. The 32-year-old was not injured and refused any sort of medical attention at the scene, police said.
