TUSCALOOSA, AL — An arrest has been made in a fatal shooting Saturday morning in the 400 block of 30th Place at University Manor apartments. Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Captain Marty Sellers told local media Monday morning that Tuscaloosa resident Tobias Nickerson, 23, has been charged with felony murder and attempted murder in the shooting death of 24-year-old Larry Deashean Cameron, of Tuscaloosa. Nickerson was then identified as a suspect and apprehended shortly thereafter. He remains in the Tuscaloosa County Jail awaiting bond.
