A childhood brain injury can have lifelong effects on cognition, learning, academic performance, social skills, independence, and overall quality of life. But with a little help and some hard work, we can improve the outcomes for children who have experienced brain injuries. That's where Brain Injury Buddies comes in.
What is it? Individualized curriculum delivered in a one-on-one setting to target the fundamental building blocks of cognition and help develop self-management, self-advocacy, and self-esteem.
Who is it for? For children between ages 4 and 12 who have sustained a brain injury.
