Rip lumber with bandsaw or bench top plane

Hello, I have lumber that I will be using to encase some posts and beams inside my house. They are Alderwood boards, 2" X 10" X 10' ft. We would like to rip them into 1/2" thickness or thereabouts. I'm looking for someone with the equipment and expertise to do this. The boards are in a large garage, big enough to set up equipment and do the milling, or they could be taken to a mill. Please let me know about your experience with this kind of work, the equipment you have for it, and your availability. The site is in Vista.
