Capital Realty Group, a leading Property Management Company, is excited to announce an opening for a qualified Make-Ready/Maintenance Technician to join our Austin, TX team! Essential Job Functions Include: • Make-ready of vacant units, including painting, drywall repairs, light fixture replacements, door replacements, cabinet refinishing, and laying LVT flooring. • Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service by taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards established by the organization. • Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community by ensuring that grounds, amenities, building exteriors/interiors, market ready units, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots and other buildings and common areas are free of debris, trash, graffiti, and other items which affect the appearance of the community. All deficiencies and or risk management safety issues are reported immediately. • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace and ensure they are organized and in proper working order, request replacements as necessary, and assist in stocking the inventory. • Be available for rotating on-call. • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: • Must enjoy the activities required to turn apartments (painting, flooring, etc)! • Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders and stairs. • Must be available for rotating on-call needs (after-hours and weekends - overtime eligible). • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision and as part of a team. • Must provide excellent customer service with every interaction. • Previous experience in the Apartment field is a requirement of this position. • Must be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
