Looking for Entry Level Prep and Experienced Painters to work high-end residential and commercial jobs in (but not limited to) Los Angeles county and surrounding areas. Entry Level starting pay is $15.00 per hour Job duties include preparing wall & wood surfaces for paint by sanding, scraping and/or using wire brushes, filling voids (holes) with Bondo, removing wallpaper/old paint, washing walls as needed. Protecting surrounding areas by taping-off and/or covering with cloth/plastic. Able to follow directions/instruction from all assistant foreman/foreman. We’ll train you to become a painter - you can grow & advance in our company. Experienced Painters must be able to demonstrate experience in painting and/or staining using paint brushes, rollers and/or spray equipment, etc. Experienced in removing previous paint surfaces using masking or chemical rinse Must be detail-oriented, responsible & Dedicated Starting pay will depend on experience and references are helpful. All candidates need to be able to: Lift & carry 5-gallon paint containers & equipment around large job sites Carry & climb/work on ladders & extension ladders Be comfortable working on elevated surfaces including scaffolding up to 3-4 stories Bend, squat, reach, push/pull as needed, and be able to lift heavy doors & millwork Must be able to tolerate the odors of paint, stain, thinners, etc. (Proper respiratory equipment provided) Be comfortable with various climate & working environments (you maybe exposed to extreme heat/cold) Able to work in a standing position for extended hours. Able to work both independently & within a team environment Follow safety practices, policies & procedures Maintain a safe work environment Strong work ethic Punctual arrival time and ready to work Perform other duties as required Positions are full-time, Monday through Friday Dependable transportation is required to & from various job sites Candidates must be extremely reliable, punctual & hardworking Spanish/English-speaking is helpful but not required Requirements: -Ability to lift 50lbs -Professional conduct at all times -Positive job reference -Valid driver's license w/ clean driving record -Ability to legally satisfy I-9 form -Some English speaking capability -Ability to work well on a team We are looking for: -Bilingual English/Spanish preferred -Hardworking -Safety oriented
